So, for those out of the loop... The reason there hasn't been much in the way of updates lately is because i have had to work to pay bills. And it hasnt been animation or previs work... so i havent had the luxury of doing what i love as of late.
However, last week i got 2 emails for 2 separate gigs! Thats the good news. The bad news is they both fell through. But the silver lining is that having a week off from working in the food service biz has allowed me a bit of time to jump back into doing animation.
Whenever ive taken a bit of time from animation (whether forced or voluntary) i always like to jump back in by working ona cycle of some sort. I find that focusing on the simple mechanics of an animation cycle helps to ease my rustiness and get those skills flowing again.
And so today i present to you my "blocking 01" of a simple walk cycle of a soldier-type guy with a gun. Its not even close to finisheCritique away. :) and i will follow with more updates soon.
